Comic Releases for 4/10

Tomorrow actually looks like it's going to be pretty uneventful as far as comic releases go. The only thing that's relevant to this post is a new issue of "Transformers: Regeneration One", which is a series that has nothing to do with the IDW continuity, and is actually an attempt to revive the original Marvel continuity (even going so far as to start with "issue #80.5", since the original series ended with issue #80). This series doesn't really strike my fancy, but if you are a fan of it, you can find information on the new issue below.

Transformers: Regeneration One #90
$3.99
Story by: Simon Furman, Art by: Andrew Wildman
"TOO LITTLE—TOO LATE! As Scorponok’s Dark Reign comes ever closer to spreading right across Cybertron, Grimlock launches a desperate counterstrike, in the face of almost innumerable odds. Does the Dinobot commander really have one last ace up his sleeve, or does his “plan” amount to a glorious—but doomed—last stand?"

    1. What? You're allowed to dislike some episodes of MLP, but I have to love every bit of Transformers fiction that's out there? Jeez, talk about a double standard... =P But seriously, as obsessed as I may be with the Aligned continuity and some of the IDW comics, you know full well that I have mixed feelings about the live-action movies. Plus, I've also said that I never enjoyed Transformers: Animated all that much, and even the original Beast Wars series isn't exactly a favorite of mine. When you have a franchise that's gone through several incarnations spread out over the course of nearly 30 years, you're bound to end up with a few series that really shine, and a few that simply fall short of that greatness.

    2. I suppose so, but still it just feels wrong when you aren't fawning over everything bot related.
