Wreck-It Ralph Review

Yesterday night, a friend of mine and I went to see the newest Disney movie; Wreck-It Ralph. To be honest, this has probably been one of the best movies that I've seen since the Hunger Games.

Movie Summary
Wreck-It Ralph is a villian in a video game called Fix-It Felix Jr. Ralph's job is to smash the penthouse, and throw bricks at Fix-It Felix, as he repairs the damage done by Ralph. When Felix fixes the damages done by Ralph, the residents of the penthouse then throw Ralph off the building as Felix is rewarded a medal. After arcade hours, video game characters are allowed to move freely throughout the videogames by using the Video Game Central Station. When Ralph isn't working, he attends a meeting among other video game villians in the Pac-Man game.
The setting takes place on Fix-It Felix Jr.'s 30th anniversary. Felix throws a party, without inviting Ralph, in the penthouse. Ralph, feeling left out, decides to attend the party. When Ralph enters the room, the other characters become angered. They tell him that he is not allowed in the penthouse, because he is a villian. Ralph then makes a bet, that if he could get a medal, he would be allowed to live in the penthouse. Ralph then begins to game jump, in an attempt to earn a medal.
Wreck-It Ralph was a terrific movie, with plenty of explosions and some dark humor. Some of the characters were a little annoying, but other than that, everything else was fine.

  1. I liked Wreck-It-Ralph, but I felt it could have been better. The second half went from being about video games to being about candy puns. IF they had cut down Sugar Rush and maybe had him jump through another game at some point then that could have been pretty cool. Still a good movie and worth seeing, it just had the potential to be a really great movie.
