So this guy is hidden within a game over on the hub. I'm betting he's not a good guys, so is this our next My Little Pony villain? Take this with a grain of salt because it's all just speculation, but if he is, I bet he's got an awesome back story. A lot of people aren't liking his design, they say he looks boring, he looks like a bad OC come to life, everyone is banging the "Hasbro WTF are you doing drum." I like the design, and I think he could be a really cool character. Just remember, lots of people went into a tisy when they first saw Discords design, and look how that turned out.
Ever since season 3 ended, I've been really out of touch with news about the actual show. Please teach us your ways, o gracious master of trains!

DeleteAnyway, as always, I'm going to withhold my judgement of this "new character" until more information becomes available...
Well since Chameleon's already seen the next season, he would know if this guy's in there or not. Since I don't, as I've only seen Season 2, I'll just speculate.
ReplyDeleteIf this guy is in the third season, and that's a big if, I could see him as a Changeling King: note the color of his skin/fur/carapace and the fangs in that devilish smile. The eyes could also be a match since Chrysalis is the only changeling we've seen with eyes and not the blue "lenses" of the lesser changelings.
Of course he is also just as capable of being an ancient unicorn necromancer, possible even a fall alicorn deity, as the horn has a slight scythe-like curve that we have never seen before. Then there is also the "crystal ponies" we were hinted at during one of the songs from season three that was legitimate. Any of these theories could wrong or possible, we'll just have to wait and see.
Who do you think this obvious badass could be?
In regards to the "fans reaction", we'll what they have to say when this dude busts up into Canterlot, destroys all the equestrian guard, overthrows both princess and takes an elements of harmony rainbow to the face without flinching, all while being voiced by Mark Strong. What now bronies?!
I'm just gonna go out on a limb and guess that he's not a changeling. Personally, I just don't see that many similarities... I'm also going to guess that he's not a necromancer, mostly just because that's not all that kid-friendly. XD Now, the other two guesses seem entirely possible to me, and I'm really starting to get curious about the crystal ponies...

That was a drone sent from the future to dispatch me, but it obviously couldn't help stealing my identity, too. I took care of it, and thankfully (or maybe unfortunately) I couldn't hear it shouting spoilers for season 3 over the sound of the giant blender I threw it in.

ReplyDeleteHe doesnt look like a changeling but we can't really know for sure since all we see is his headshot. I actually kind of like the design though. Also which game is he supposedly hidden in? I really want to know.

This is... interesting. I'm not saying I'm fully on board, but that's defiantly something to think about.
